The Sorority's international service program Z-HOPE (Zetas Helping Other People Excel) through Mind, Body and Spirit serves to empower people from all walks of life. The program focuses on five populations; Women, Men, Seniors, Youth, and International Women of Color.
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and March of Dimes have a 49 year national service partnership. Sigma Rho Zeta supports the partnership by participating in the Zeta Prematurity Awareness program in November and raising funds for the March for Babies walk in the spring.
The capstone program of the International Women of Color component of Z-HOPE. Chapters support the project by sponsoring cohorts in Ghana to be trained and provided a sewing machine with sewing tools, supplies and materials to produce reusable feminine hygiene pads for girls in rural villages.
Provides education and awareness about preparing for your senior years. It is a comprehensive program that focuses on elder abuse awareness, financial peace, supporting the caregiver and volunteering at senior care facilities.
Honoring those that are serving or have served in all branches of the armed forces. Recognition given throughout the year with a week long celebration surrounding Veteran's Day in November.
Designed to address the underlying issues in our communities: drive individual and community engagement; empower citizens to get involved; and cultivate a culture of mutual respect in our communities.
